Volunteer Organisers' Forum

The Volunteer Organisers' Forum is used to promote and share best practice for those managing or coordinating volunteers.  We meet quarterly to discuss a variety of issues relevant to volunteering such as volunteer recruitment, employability, DBS checks, volunteer retention, thank you events, welfare reform impacts, volunteers and the law amongst others.  Featuring speakers and mini workshops, this forum is also a great opportunity to network

The next Volunteer Organisers' Forum will take place on Thursday 2nd June 2016 1-3pm, celebrating the work of volunteers and volunteer coordinators across Bristol in Volunteers Week 2016.

We will be discussing what it takes to lead, organise and coordinate volunteers, sharing learning from projects of varying size, concentrating on specific topics chosen by you. Help us identify what's going on for you so that we can spend focused time helping each other.  We will be sharing successes, challenges and aspirations to help strengthen and shape the volunteer organisers’ network over the coming year, and of course celebrating with cake!

To register your interest in this event and submit your discussion topic, please click here.  Places are limited and will be confirmed by email week commencing 16th May 2016.

The following VOF will take place on Tuesday 20th September 2016.
